We tried for a long time to find someone who could/would fix the base of a 30+ year old office chair. My husband tried to repair it each of the three times it collapsed. Mr. Levitsky came to the house to gather the pieces and came back to deliver it at the agreed upon time. His wife came with him and repaired some gouges and nicks in the kitchen table. They are such a nice couple and seem to work very well together. It’s rare that I see such hardworking people who will do what they say they will do. The chair is as sturdy as if it was new and the table won’t need the refinishing that I thought was inevitable. I know who I will call upon in the future to help with our woodworking needs.

During our move a very old (from the early 1800’s) card table was damaged. I called a very reputable consignment shop and asked if I could get a referral for repair work, without hesitation she gave me this number.. I called and that very day the table was on it’s way to becoming the fine piece of furniture it once was. I thought it was just one leg that needed to be repaired but it was actually two. The next week the table was back in excellent condition. Highly recommend Levitsky for quick, quality work.

We have very old, about 100 years, dining room chairs that are so comfortable we never want to get rid of them. Several of them were very loose and one had the arm almost off. Mr. Levitsky repaired them in a short time frame and they are wonderful. Glad we know someone who does such beautiful work and handled our chairs with care. Thanks.

We have an imported dining set that was a 5th anniversary gift from my husband. We just celebrated our 27th anniversary. One of the chair legs had a very bad break. It had been repaired once before and broke again. We were worried that it could not be repaired again without spoiling the beauty of the piece. Mr. Levitsky was able to restore the chair leg utilizing techniques that did not detract from the beauty of the wood or the piece. He kept all the repairs under the chair and out of sight. It was fantastic work. The chair is now super sturdy. Plus, the work was completed in less than a week. He came to our home; analyzed the piece; gave an estimate; took the chair with him; called to report on the progress; and delivered the chair back to our home. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend and use his services again.
